  • In some cases obesity is a disability...thyroid problems, pregnancy, depression ect can cause a person to be severely overweight. I believe that the American Disabilities Act would conflict with this bill.

  • This is scary on an ethical level. As you said Prilj, it is not morally questionable to change a person's genetics to cure debilitating disease, but some may view "gayness" as a disease to be treated.

  • Both analogies apply here, but again a defective seed would not grow anyplace nor would a mentally defective child survive in a jungle. I guess I'm not convinced that IQ, as I interpret what it means, is not inherent.
